Although heavily subsidized by the pharmaceutical companies, there are many worthwhile articles for us.  Subscribe.  The more you know the less you fear.

THE THERMOMETER TIMES DBSA Bulletin, Riverside, CA     951-780-3366

I find this is one of the best informal newsletters I receive each month.

*NAMI NEWSLETTER (Local) - To find your local website type in www.nami (your county name).org, for example: www.namisantaclara.org. They sponsor excellent speakers and offer nationally recognized classes.

*DBSA NEWSLETTER (State or National) - To find local chapters go to www.dbsalliance.org. Their highly articulate brochures and other written materials are so superior I would give them give them to the newly diagnosed and their family and friends.

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH (NIMH)   www.nimh.nih.gov

It is research oriented but well worth it.  The research is heavily funded by the former Stanley Foundation for Bipolar Research.

SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN MIND – Well written, accessible articles on many subjects of interest.  ItŐs excellent.

BODY & SOUL – Good nutrition, mind and spirit care information

*Join.  The speakers and information will increase the quality of your life and your level of knowledge.
